7 Figures of Speech
This lesson was inspired by the illustration by Ella Baron. We will start the challenge of finding as many literal idioms as possible. Then, trainees will find the answers by scanning the QR codes around the room. Each trainee will choose one of the phrases that they find interesting and research it more thoroughly. The main format is: personal story - meaning - origin - extra info. Trainees will each their figure of speech to the others. If there is time, we will examine the song by Alanis Morrissette, Bees of My Knees.
